I just thought I'd update my journal, and I feel like writing some things down... so, here it goes! I am also doing my watchers feature too. I guess the kill to birds with one stone - though I hate that saying. Anyway, I'm ready. Updates and a feature to start out 2012!

So I officially opened my Etsy shop about a little over one month (end of November) and now its the New Year! I hope 2012 brings some great designs and sales. I also plan to add photography and art greeting/thank you cards later on. If you ever want to visit, this is my link: [link]

School...
So I am a sophomore in college now trying to save money by going to community college. I have been taking classes online and it works so well for me. It just fits the way I learn, and I can draw and make jewelry while I do so! I guess there is not much to say here. Though on the upside I am learning to play the guitar! (Present from my birthday)

Art...
I'm hoping a lot more art is coming this year! I recently posted my first digital art piece this year and I can see the improvement! I hope I can continue to get better at that while still working on traditional pieces. Don't forget - I love receiving comments and critiques Just trying to improve!

Career Searching...
If anyone can help me with this, that would be awesome! I was thinking children's book illustration and illustration in general and have so far interviewed one person in this area. I also interviewed one person in graphic design and another in jewelry design (though not in the US, which effects the interview unfortunately). However, I am trying to look for more illustrations in addition to an entomologist or something similar, which happens to be hard to find! If anyone knows an entomologist or some other biologist that deals with nature (maybe a botanist) that is willing to be interviewed - please let me know! :beg: It would be so helpful.
